How do I import my Microsoft Outlook contacts from my computer?

At ePassing, we respect and value your privacy. Currently, Microsoft Outlook neither recommends nor offers single sign-on connectivity for direct sharing of your personal contacts with web-based software services. 

Therefore, to protect our customers, ePassing has opted to allow only the import of Microsoft Outlook contacts that are stored on your local computer. Below you will find instructions and accompanying images that demonstrate how to export your contacts from Microsoft Outlook into ePassing in a simple, safe, and secure manner.

Step One 

Open Microsoft Outlook and select File.

 

Step 2

Now select Export in the upper left-hand corner.

 

Step 3

Choose Import/Export from the options listed.

Step 4

Select Export to a file and click Next.

Step 5

Now select Comma Separated Values and click Next.

Step 6

Now scroll through the outlook files and select Contacts. After you highlight Contacts, click Next.

Step 7

The last step is to save the exported file to a name of your choosing.

*Saving to the Desktop will allow for easiest import into the ePassing send notification system. 

Congratulations! You're an expert!

Now you can select the option Outlook from your simple import drop down menu and upload this file.
